Black Lotus – This item can be found in Winterspring. You’ll want to look for it near the cave of the blue dragon. This is the best spot, but you can also find it in the Badlands and the Eastern Plaguelands. Blood of the Mountain – You’ll find this by mining the Dark Nodes in the Searing Mountains. It is necessary for quests later on in the game as well as for those who are nearing mastering their professions. It sells incredibly well in the auction house.
Dark Runes – If you go after only one item, this should be it. They are very necessary for this game and there is a high amount of demand. You can get them by killing mobs in Scholo.
Essence of Water – You can get these items in the Felwoods, and the mobs here have a very high drop rate which makes it very lucrative to go after them.
Larval Acid – You can easily sell one of these for around 10 gold pieces, so this is another item to focus on. You can find it in the Eastern Plaguelands by grinding slugs. The drop rate is actually pretty high, so this is a great way to get gold fast.
Stonescale Eels – These can be pretty hard to find and you’ll need to try to get them late at night for the best results. Look for these on the coasts of Kalimdor. You can usually get around 1 gold piece for each one that you find.

Auction House Tips

Since you’re going to need to sell these items in the auction house for best results, it’s important to have a good strategy to make the most money. If you are not familiar with how the auction house works, you’re going to want to sit back and watch for a few days. This will give you an idea of pricing and demand.
Don’t price your items too high or too low. The auction system will automatically give you a base price and you’ll be able to decide if you want to price it a little higher or a little lower. It’s a good idea to schedule your auctions for times when player activity is higher, such as early evening. You can easily do well at an auction during this time, while the middle of the night can be very slow.
Don’t flood the auction house with too many similar items. It can be tempting to want to dump everything you have and move on, but this is not a good strategy. Start with one of each of your more popular items and maybe three or four of the more common items. If you don’t saturate the marketplace with your items, you’ll have a better chance of getting better prices.
Resist the urge to run other players out of business by undercutting their prices too much. While it’s one thing to be competitive, it’s quite another to ruin the market for an item. This practice is frowned upon and will only win you enemies. Keep your prices fair and you’ll have a much better chance of doing well at the auction house.

If you want to start making your own weapons and armor, either for yourself or for profit, the profession of blacksmithing is a very lucrative one. So, lets get started with this WoW Blacksmithing Guide. It is best combined with a secondary profession of mining, if you really want to save money, but it can also stand on its own. If you do decide to mine, you won’t have to worry about purchasing blocks of metal for your recipes. Many players decide to take this route since it is cheaper.However, since mining does take a great deal of time, you may want to start off with just blacksmithing. You won’t need to purchase expensive metal bars until later in your profession and if you wish, you can start mining then.

Let’s take a look at how to easily master the profession of world of warcraft blacksmithing with the least amount of effort.

Getting Started
First, you’re going to need to visit a trainer to get your apprenticeship. You can find these trainers in most large cities. If you’re having difficulty, just ask around with other players and you should be able to locate one without any trouble. You’re also going to need some basic items to get going.

To start off with you’re going to need coal, some grinding stones, different kinds of flux such as weak, strong or elemental and in some cases, materials such as gems or leather. For your first recipes though, you can just stick with the basics.

Once you have these items, you’ll need to get plans from your trainer to start making items. These plans will need to be purchased. If you don’t have enough money, you can quickly earn some gold by grinding to get all of the plans that you need. Now that you have your plans, you are ready to get started. In order to make any items, you’ll have to open your spellbook and click on Blacksmithing. It will give you the required recipes and walk you through the process of creating them.

To get from level 1 to level 25 in skills, you’re going to need to have 25 sharpening stones. These can be purchased, or you can easily find them if you want to save money. These will be required for all of your recipes while you are advancing to 25. Once you’re at this level, you’re going to need to have 40 rough grinding stones to take you to skill level 65. 10 coarse sharpening stones are necessary to go from 60 to 75. At this point, you’ll be ready to become a journeyman.

To go from 76 to 100, you’ll need to have 25 coarse grinding stones on hand. For 101 to 105, you’ll need to make 5 silver rods. This recipe will call for 10 rough stones and 5 bars of silver. If you are mining, then it shouldn’t be difficult to get the bars that you need. Otherwise, you’re going to need to either purchase them from a vendor or go to the auction house to pick some up.

Once you are making rods, you can sell these to other players. For example, Enchanters need a silver rod to get their special Runed Silver Rod, so there is quite a market for these. This is probably the first thing that you’re going to be able to sell.

Now, to get from 106 to 125, you’re going to need to create 60 pairs of bronze leggings. This will require 120 bars of bronze. This can be made by combining copper and iron, or you can simply purchase the supplies that you need. To get to 150, all you need to have are 25 heavy grinding stones. As you can see, there is a pattern here. All of the stones that you need are used in the recipes for the next item that you have to make to get to a new level. Before long, you’ll be making awesome items like these Flamebane Bracers. If you’ve reached this point, you’re now an expert. It won’t get any easier, but you will be able to make items now that will have a much higher value. The time that you’ve put into learning your craft will now really start to pay off.

In world of warcraft, to go from 151 to 200, you’re going to need to make 25 bronze leggings which will require 150 bronze bars. At this point you can see why it’s a good idea to combine this profession with mining. It can get pretty expensive to purchase these bars and your profit margin will be a lot smaller if you’re not mining them on your own. You’ll also need to create 25 iron counterweights. These will require 50 coarse grinding stones, 100 iron bars and 25 lesser moonstones.

You’ll now need to get 110 solid grinding stones to progress to level 210. After you reach that point, you’ll have to make 5 golden scale bracers, which require 10 heavy grinding stones and 25 steel bars. To get to 225 and become an artisan, you’ll have to finish off by making 10 steel plate helms. This will require 140 steel bars and 10 solid grinding stones.

Once you’re an artisan, things get to be a lot more enjoyable. To go from 226 to 235, you’ll have to make 10 more helms using the recipe above. Once this is done, you’ll need to make 15 mithril spurs. This will require 60 mithril bars and 45 solid grinding stones. Now get 10 dense grinding stones to go up to 260 and you’ll be ready to move onto the next items which are 5 thorium bracers (60 thorium bars and 20 blue power crystals) and 20 thorium helms which will require 80 yellow power crystals, 20 star rubies and 480 thorium bars.

After you’ve hit 300, it’s up to you whether or not you want to continue. A lot of players may stop here just because it’s a little more difficult to get up to 375 from this point on. However, if you do keep going, you’ll finish your master blacksmithing and chances are the things you are making will be in high demand.

Making the Most Out of Blacksmithing
While you’re increasing your skills, it’s also a good idea to start making other items that you can sell. Hang out in the auction house and watch which items are in demand. Get the necessary materials and the recipes and you’ll be able to start selling these items on your own. This is a great way to make extra money to purchase the components you need for your skill levels to increase.

Abilities

As a hunter, you’ll be tracking and trapping your enemies. It is a good idea to spend some extra time learning this skills and increasing your experience points. Your first quest in level two, Tracking Beasts, is a great place to get the basics down. For traps, you will need to spend your mana to get them, but they don’t cost actual money. We recommend using these if someone is chasing you. One of the most effective traps is the Immolation Trap which will set an enemy on fire once they hit it. Just drop the trap as you are running and they will blunder into it.

Choosing a Pet

Pets are essential for the WoW hunter class. You’ll need to make your choice very carefully and make sure that the beast you select is indeed tameable before you approach it. Here’s how to get started.Once you reach level 10, you’ll be eligible for your first pet. You will need to find a trainer to teach you the basic skills of taming a beast. Getting Started

Once you decide that you’re going to get into learning enchanting you’re going to need to find a trainer to get your apprenticeship. This is very easy to do and they are available in many locations in larger cities. Once you have this done, you’ll also need to choose a secondary profession. Disenchanting

At times, you may need to disenchant an item to collect the special dusts and poweders that you need. Open up your spellbook and select disenchant. Now move your mouse over to the item that you want to disenchant. It may take a few minutes to complete the process. Remember, there is no turning back once you start this process.

If you need to get dust and other items for your enchanting recipes, disenchanting items is probably the easiest and cheapest way to go about it. Here’s a quick guide to help you get what you need:

Dust – Green Armor
Essence – Green Weapons
Shard – Blue Items
Nexus Crystal – Purple Items (up to 60)
Void Crystals – Purple Items (after level 60)

What to Do With Your Skill

Now that you’re enchanting items, you’re going to need to do something with them. A lot of players like to trade enchanted items and this is the main reason that enchanting is considered one of the more social skills. Advancing Your Skills
The main goal is to get to a skill level of 375. While it’s pretty easy to move up quickly past 60, it does get a little harder after that point. Once you reach 300, it is incredibly difficult to keep moving up. However, as you increase your skills, you’ll be able to create enchanted items that are worth more money.

In order to get to 300 you’ve got to start at the beginning. For your first level, you’re going to need a runed copper rod. You can make this on your own with the following components: One copper rod (purchased from a blacksmith), one strange dust and one lesser magic essence. Once you have all of these items, open your spellbook and click on enchant. Follow the recipe directions to make your runed copper rod.

To quickly move up to a skill level of 50 all you have to do is disenchant all of the green items you have already found. Keep in mind you won’t be able to use them again, but the materials you do get from them will be well worth it. You’ll also need to follow the directions above to make your first bracer. You can keep doing this until you get to a skill level of 60. Since you’re not likely to find anyone that wants to buy one of your beginning bracers, hang on to it. You can keep enchanting it until you get to a skill level of 70.

You’ll continue with the bracers, adding stamina and agility, but to get to level 100, you’re going to need to create a runed silver rod. For this, you’ll need 1 silver rod (purchased from a blacksmith), 6 strange dust, 1 shadowgerm and 3 greater magic essence. Again, follow the directions in your spellbook. This rod will be used for all of your future enchantments, so this is very important.

As you keep getting more points, you’ll be able to enchant more items and impart more abilities to them. Keep going and follow the directions of your trainer. To get to level 150, you’ll need to make a runed gold rod. For this, get 1 gold rod from the blacksmith and use 2 soul dust, 2 greater astral essence and 1 iridescent pearl. You’ll also need to make two more rods before you can reach a skill level of 300. The last one, the Runed Arcanite Rod is made with 1 arcanite rod, 1 golden pearl, 10 illusion dust, 4 small brilliant shards and 2 large brilliant shards.

It’s up to you to continue onto 375 from this point, but keep in mind that it won’t be easy. But, with patience, you’ll be able to make enchanted cloaks, chests, gloves, rings and many other items that all have a very high value in the auction house. The Runed Eternium Rod is incredibly useful and you can make this with one eternium rod, 12 greater planar essence, 4 primal might, 1 runed adamite rod, and 2 void crystals. This rod is incredibly rare and commands a very high price. Just remember, the more skill you have, the more gold you can make off of the items you enchant.

World of Warcraft Warlock Guide

Many players make the mistake of avoiding this class since it isn’t considered to be one that excels at combat fighting, but in actuality, when played correctly, this is a fearsome class that can do a lot of damage. If you are interested in playing WoW a little bit differently, this is definitely a class to try. Although it is true that the Warlock is not necessarily a class that is meant for hand to hand combat, they are incredibly powerful. In the game lore, the Warlock is a class that used to be a mage before turning to the dark side. They use demons, pets and spells to inflict tremendous amounts of damage. When you are playing this class, you’re going to want to focus more on the skills of stalking your enemy, dealing out damage over time and the favorite, good old fear tactics.

Getting Started
Once you’ve made the decision to give this class a shot, you’re going to need to know some basics. First, the Warlock’s pet is one of its best assets. These pets function for a Warlock much like they do for a Hunter. They deal out close range damage and tank (take damage) for their master. This allows the Warlock to stand back away from the action, casting spells, and avoiding harm.
If you like up close hand to hand combat, this is not a good class for you. However, if you like more of a strategy based, skilled method of playing the game, the Warlock will suit you quite well. When you first start out, your Warlock won’t be all that powerful, but as you level up, you will increase in skill and experience. Once you reach level 40, you’ll get your first mount and this is the point that the game will really change in your favor. Soon, you’ll be able to get your own epic mount through questing, but the one you get at first is still incredibly capable.
Tools of the Trade
Since the Warlock isn’t into hand to hand combat, your weapons are going to be your spells. It is vital to remember that once you cast a spell, you cannot move. If you do change your position, the spell will fail and you will place yourself in danger.
The main resource for a Warlock is their mana. This is used for a spell and will be depleted each time one is cast. However, unlike any other character, the Warlock has the ability to convert their HP into useable mana. This can make quite a difference in the middle of a battle.
Picking a Profession
You’re not going to want to waste your time on professions like blacksmithing, skinning or fishing. The best professions for a Warlock are herbalism, enchanting and alchemy. Tailoring is also a very good choice since you will need cloths for your spell casting. It is a good idea to pick a very strong primary profession that will be supported by a secondary profession.
For example, you can combine mining and alchemy to save money on the components that you’ll need for your spells. You can also combine herbalism and alchemy to make not only potions for yourself but others as well. This is probably the easiest way for a Warlock to earn money quickly.
