As an avid fan and player of the game for the last 3 years i've set up this website as a helper to anyone who plays World of Warcraft and is looking for a World of Warcraft strategy guide.
You'll find inside numerous tips, tricks and strategy advice designed to help you get through the levels faster, get gold faster and ultimately enjoy and gain more satisfaction from the game.
First of all, for those who are new to the game here's a brief rundown of World of Warcraft (also known as WoW): World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment's 4th game in it's Warcraft series, is played by millions of people world wide. It is what is knowns as a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game (MMORPG).
Released on November 23, 2004, it takes place 4 years after the setting of Warcraft III, and is set in the world of Azeroth.
You'll find that your reward in the game is money, experience, items and reputation, which in turn all allow you to increase your skill and power.
One of the things that you may have come to this site for is to look for a solid World of Warcraft strategy to level-up your character.
You can level up your character from level 1 to 60 and even level 70 if you've got the Burning Crusade expansion. The Wrath of the Lich King expansion will enable you to level up to 80.

In the game, there are two main types of characters:
1) Player Characters (controlled by realy people)
2) Non-Player Characters (controlled by Blizzard's gaming software)
There are nine character classes that you can choose from, each class having its own unique set of talents and abilities. You can, depending on the class of charater that you have, choose to build your character's talent trees for damage-per-second (DPS), tanking, healing or a combination.
The 9 WOW character classes are:
•Druid
•Hunter
•Mage
•Paladin
•Priest
•Rogue
•Shaman
•Warlock
•Warrior
Your character can earn gold, silver and copper to finance your adventures through the lands of Warcraft.
As part of your World of Warcraft strategy, you'll need to work on different side skills for your character. These skills are called professions and they are divided into two categories:
1) Primary Professions
- Gathering: Mining, Skinning and Herbalism
- Crafting: Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Alchemy, Engineering, Enchanting, Jewelcrafting, and Inscription
2) Secondary Professions
Cooking, Fishing and First Aid.
Note: The Rogue class has two unique secondary professions: Lock Picking and Poisons

World of Warcraft Gold Guide
Everyone who plays WoW wants to get more gold. It’s a necessity if you want to purchase the items you need like armor or weapons and it definitely comes in handy for winged mounts and skills later on in the game. The only problem is that gold certainly doesn’t grow on trees, so you’re going to have to work for it one way or another. In this World of Warcraft Gold Guide, we'll cover the various options for making gold include grinding, professions, flipping, or purchasing gold from gold sellers. In fact, for the sake of this guide, we’re going to focus on the first three. All players can easily learn these skills and once you’re in the know, it’s easy to make a ton of gold in a very short period of time. You just need to know how and where to make it. Let’s get started.
Grinding for Gold
Grinding for gold is probably the easiest way to get a lot of gold in a short amount of time. It is incredibly tedious, but there are locations and techniques that can earn up to 50 gold pieces an hour, so it is well worth the time. Most players like to spend a little time grinding while they’re questing. As an extra bonus, you’ll also be increasing your experience points, so it really can pay off in the long run.
There are a few places that you are going to want to focus on if you are serious about grinding. Most of your opportunities for high amounts of gold earned per hour are going to be in the higher levels. However, you can turn a profit by grinding mobs just about anywhere and flipping the items that they drop. We’ll get into that later in this guide.
Once you get past level 50, the opportunities really open up for quality grinding. Winterspring is a region that is chock full of mobs that will earn you 50 gold pieces an hour, so make sure you spend a lot of time here. The best places to start are is the WinterfallVillage.

You’ll find plenty of furbolgs in this location. They are relatively easy to kill and have a high drop rate. You’ll also be able to earn your Timbermaw as an extra little bonus.
The Yeti’s in the Everlook Forest also offer some great opportunities for grinding in this region. They do minimal amounts of damage and are easy enough to overcome on your own. You’ll also want to look for the Frostsabers since they are incredibly easy targets. As you get more experience and get past Level 80, you’ll be in the Eastern Plaguelands where it is also very easy to find mobs for grinding.
The Mossflayer Zombie is an insanely easy target here and you will easily earn well past 50 gold pieces an hour with the right techniques and patience.
Professions that Earn Gold
This method of getting more gold is going to take a little bit longer, but it can be a lot more interesting than simple grinding. While all professions can make money, your best bets for profits are going to be skinning, leatherworking and blacksmithing. Secondary professions such as fishing can also earn gold, but you’ll need to have the primary skill of cooking if you really want to make any money at it.
Alchemy can also be a very good profession, but you will need to spend a lot of time gathering the necessary items or purchasing them. To start out, we really recommend skinning or blacksmithing. These mesh well with flipping, which we’ll talk about next.
In order to effectively earn gold with your profession, you’re going to need to spend a lot of time increasing your skills. This can take you away from questing, so try to balance everything out. It is well worth your time to get to a skill level of over 300, but it’s going to require a lot of patience. Once you do reach this, the items you make will be worth more money.
Flipping:
Flipping is a term coined to describe the process of gathering items and then selling them in the auction house or to vendors. It can also be used to describe the process of finding items at the auction house that are priced below market value and then turning them around for a profit. You can actually make quite a bit of money with flipping and it’s easy enough to integrate with your questing so you don’t lose a lot of time away from the game. For gathering, you’ll need to use some of the skills we discussed in grinding. One of the easiest ways to amass a lot of items to sell is to target mobs that have a high drop rate of valuable items. You can just keep grinding until you are satisfied with the amount of items in your possession. However, you will need to learn some basic marketing skills if you want to flip effectively.
Supply and demand is the first lesson you’ll learn when flipping. It’s a good idea to hang out in the auction house for a few days and see which items are selling the fastest. You’re going to want to focus on these, as well as rare items or more expensive items. Don’t waste your time on little drops that aren’t worth much.
If you have a lot of the same item, you are going to want to trickle it into the auction house. Don’t make the mistake of listing all of the items at once, since you will effectively destroy your own market. When you list an item, you’ll be given a suggested price. It’s a good idea to stick pretty close to this. If you under price an item too drastically, you’ll earn the ire of other auction sellers and it can be very hard to get your reputation back.
You’ll also want to choose your auction timing carefully. The best auctions are those scheduled in the early evening when the most players are available. Try to stay away from really late night auctions since they will not do as well. You’re also going to want to keep track of all of your auction items in a list so that you don’t forget what is in your inventory.
Flipping is probably the easiest way to make gold in this game if you are already grinding on the side while you are questing. It is a little slower than really focusing on grinding for gold, but you will have more time to focus on actually playing the game and leveling up, which is what it is all about.

I have no doubt that anyone who purchases the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide will find exactly what they are looking for inside. It is utterly comprehensive and covers every aspect of playing World of Warcraft that I can think of (leveling 1-70, no matter what side you are on, gold secrets, profession guides and more). In fact, when I logged in and downloaded the first guide in the members area quite frankly it contained what a lot of other WoW guides sell as their entire product. Yet this first guide (for beginners) is scarcely 5% of what is contained in this mega site.

The author pulls information from his own experience that span years, and he puts it all on display in this guide. I would definitely put my trust in the hands of a player who reached the gold cap on multiple characters.

Before getting started with mining, you're going to need:
1) Mining Skill. You get this by going to your local mining trainer to get trained.
Here are the mining trainers and their locations:
Gelman Stonehand: Stormwind, on the western end of Dwarven District (Alliance Trainer)
Kurdram Stonehammer: Darkshore, north Auberdine area. (Alliance Trainer)
Matt Johnson: Duskwood, in the north section of Darkshire. (Alliance Trainer)
Brock Stoneseeker: Loch Modan, Southwest part of Thelsamar. (Alliance Trainer)
Brom Killian: Undercity, South of the bridge leading to the War Quarter. (Horde Trainer)

2) A mining Pick. It's also useful for you to note that these can also be enchanted, although it makes no difference other than you get to see a glow when you equip it like a normal weapon. Seems pointless to me but some people like this as a cool feature.
3) Optional but recommended - Gloves: Get the lowest cost gloves you can locate and get them enchanted with +5 mining skill, it won't cost more than 2g.
For those who have asked, the +5 mining won't improve your chances of getting a crystal but it will increase the odds that you WON'T have a failed attempt.
Engineers Note: If you make yourself a Goblin Mining helmet this will add +5 to your mining skill.

Wow Mining Guide - Copper mining
I suggest that you mine approximately 50 copper then smelt. Copper is so abundant, so you can use any of the following mining routs or invent your own:

Horde
- Tauren: Mulgore: Simply choose any starting point and follow the cliffs all the way around. Don't forget to check out the Venture Co mine. You should get about 40-50 copper on this run.
- Orc and Troll: An easy method is to just complete whole circuits of Durotar. However there is so much copper around that you might find it more fun to start at Razor Hill and move west towards the Quilboar grounds, hugging the cliff face until you reacht he river and then move up north till you reach Orgrimmar. Next move east till you see a small farmstead, then head south and drop into the canyon. If you follow the canyon out and head south east, you'll reach razor hill again. By the end of this you'll have about 25-30 copper ores.

- Undead: Beginning at the entrance of DeathKnell, head south and follow the cliffs all the way round, past the Undercity, up to the bulwark. Now head up north to Scarlet monastery, hugging the cliffs as you go. Move west when you reach the coast, then move south to follow the cliffs down to Agamand Mills. After that follow those hills south again back to the entrace of Deathknell. You should get about 30-40 copper ore from this run.
Alliance
- Night elves: Darnassus has no ores at all, so you must go to Darkshore. Start at Auberdine and the go east till you reach the cliffs at the top of the map. Now move southwards, hug the cliff face as move. Upon arriving at the entrance of Ashenvale, move west to the coast then north back to Auberdine. Now go east, just like before, except this time when you arrive at the cliffs, head northwards, following the clifts round the coast heading south again to Auberdine. This is a figure 8 pattern and you'll find it easir than taking Auberdine in one whole route. you'll get about 40-50 copper ores from this.
Dwarves and Gnomes: Copper is everywhere, so you really don't need a route here.
Human: Beginning at Goldshire and heading east to the north of Crystal Lake, when you arrive at the north of the logging camp, go south. Follow the river to the border of Duskwood and Elwyn forest, then move north west and return to goldshire. If you visit at least 2 mines on this trek, you'll get about 30-40 copper ores.

Wow Fishing Guide
I've set up this wow fishing guide to teach you how to level up as quickly as possible, hence I've left out what you don't need to know that is a waste of time. Seeing as I'm going to be teaching you how to fish in this Wow Fishing Guide, I've decided to also cover cooking as well as they complement each other well and you can use your time to skill up on both at the same time. It should take you about 15 hours to complete the following guide (perhaps 11 if you are really fast!)What causes your skill rate to change?
Your skill rate goes up based on the number of successful catches that you make.
Here is the approximate equation:
(current unmodified fishing level - 25) / 25 = # of fish needed to level, assuming a minimum of fish per catch.
You should also be aware that it does not matter where you fish, your skill rate only changes due to the number of successful catches that you make.

Horde Instructions
1. Begin at Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore.
2. Speak to Harn Longcast, purchase Billiant Smallfish and Longjaw Mud Snapper recipes.
3. Go to Stonebull Lake and begin fishing.
4. Equip your rod, next apply the shiny bauble lure to it (makes catching fish a lot easier!)
5. Spend about 40 minutes catching 60 Brilliant Smallfish.
6. By this time you should have also caught about 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers. When you have 60 of them, cook them. You can go back to Harn Longcast and use the fire by him, or build your own.
7. Cook Brilliant Smallfish
8. At level 50, begin cooking Longjaw Mud Snappers
9. Go and catch Longjaw Mud Snappers in the pond in Orgrimmar. It's better for you to go there than stay where you are now as the drop rate is better in Orgrimmar.
10. Somewhere between levels 50 and 70 learn journeyman cooking and fishing.
11. In order to raise your cooking up to 100, catch at least 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers.
12. Go to Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad. See Derak Nightfall and purchase Bristle Whisker Catfish recipe.
13. You will require about 80 to 100 of these to get your cooking level up to 175.
14. Between levels 125 and 150, go to Shadowprey Village in Desolace and purchae Expert Cookbook.
15. Go to Booty Bay and buy a book for your fishing level. Speak to old man heming and purchase his book Expert Fishing.
16. When you reach 175 cooking, go to Shadowprey Village in Desolace.
17. Speak to Wulan and purchase Mithril Head Trout recipe and begin fishing on the pier there.
18. Get about 60 of these in order to raise your cooking up to level 225.
By the time you have completed the above 18 steps, you should have levelled up your fishing and cooking to 225. This is as far as you can go if you have not reached level 35 yet. If you are on levels 35 or above, then you will have 2 quests to compelte before you can continue.

World of Warcraft Paladin Guide
The WoW Paladin is probably one of the most unique classes that combines physical ability with magic to create a very powerful force. The Paladin class is the most popular class for a reason. It’s considered the holy warrior that excels not only at melee fighting but also in healing, spell casting and tanking or taking hits for other players. Groups need at least one Paladin if they want to have a successful endgame and playing this class at least once is highly recommended.Getting Started: Once you have made the decision to play as a Paladin, you’ll need to pick the race for your character. Elves and humans are popular choices, but since this is a hybrid class, your options are pretty open. It’s a good idea to start out with the race that you are most comfortable with since this is a versatile class. You’ll have to master both weaponry and healing if you want to excel as a Paladin, but it is well worth your time. This is a great class to pick if you’re not really sure which professions you want to try or which style of warfare suits you best. You can try both ranged and melee as a Paladin, until you find the one that is right for you.Paladins rely heavily on mana, so you are going to want to manage this appropriately to get the most of out of this class. It will be depleted when you cast a spell or when you are in a battle, so make sure that you don’t lose too much. This will result in a loss of health points and it does take quite a while to rejuvenate your character when it drops too low.
The Tools of the Paladin
In addition to the typical armor and weapons, the Paladin class has some unique tools that are beneficial to the entire group. Let’s take a look at each one:
Auras - These are very powerful and can be used to protect just the Paladin or the entire group. They will protect the group within a 30 yard radius, so it is very effective to use one of these while you are conducting a raid. The best way to use auras is to have multiple Paladins in a group so that different auras can be used at the same time. Otherwise, only one can be used at any one time.
Seals - These are a special kind of spell that is also unique to the Paladin class. They are used for either regeneration or to increase your skills during a battle. Only one can be used at any one time, but when managed properly, they can be very useful. You can also use Seals against your enemies. In this case, they usually have the opposite effect of what they would grant to you. For example, if you have a healing seal on yourself, it would deplete the health of your enemy when used on them.
Blessings - This is the last unique item for a Paladin but it is incredibly powerful. A Paladin can use blessings to bestow certain gifts on an entire group or just themselves. The effects of a blessing can last up to fifteen minutes in some cases and can provide extra strength, extra health or even extra skills.

WoW Leveling Guide
The way that you level up in WoW will depend on the type of character that you are playing as well as the side you choose, Alliance or Horde. For this wow leveling guide, we’re going to take a look at how to take your Human character from level 1 to 30 in the Alliance. Getting Started
Once you’ve set up your game and you’re on level one, you’re ready to get started. The very first place you’ll start is Elwynn Forest in the North Shire Glade. It’s a good idea to familiarize yourself a little with the area first. Now, you’ll notice some wolves running around Kill the wolves and keep at it until you notice that you’ve reached level three. That wasn’t so hard, was it?
Now that you’re at level three, it’s a good time to repair any damage and equip your self with some new armor. This will come in handy later on. You’re now ready to go on your first actual quest. It’s a good idea to select the quest: A Threat Within, and then its follow-up Kobold Camp Cleanup. After you’ve completed these, you’ll be ready to take on two more quests, Eagen Peltskinner and Wolves Across the Border.

To get to level four, you may need to grind some more wolves until you have picked up 8 Though Wolf Meat items. You can also grind Kobold’s Vermins to get to level four. Once you’re there, you’ll need to turn in your quests and then take the next one that is offered to you. To quickly level up to five, grind the Kobold Workers in the area.
By completing the next seven quests you get, you’ll be advanced to level seven. These quests are all quite easy and should not take more than a few hours at the very most to complete. It’s a good idea to grind whenever you can to help you move up even faster.
To get from level seven to thirty is a pretty straightforward process. Simply take all the quests that are offered to you and turn them in to get the follow-ups. You can also grind to help your score increase and to earn more experience points. However, you’re going to need to get some specific items if you want to level up quickly. We’ve included a list of these below;.

Although it’s very simple to get to this point, there are a few items that you will absolutely need to have to keep advancing quickly. Here’s what you need and where to find them:

Level Six - North Shire Valley
Kill the Defias Thug and collect 12 red burlap bandanas
Find Gerrick Padfoot. Kill him and loot his head.
Level Seven - Goldshire
Kill the Stonetusk Boars until you have 4 pieces of meat
Find Goldtooth. You will need to kill him and then loot the item named Bernice’s necklace.
Level Eight - Goldshire
The Gnome’s workshop in the Operation Recombobulation Quest contains a special chest that you will need to find. This is called Rumbleshot’s Ammo. Take this crate.
Level Nine - Yeti Cave
You will need to grind the Yeti’s until you have collected at least eight Wendigo’s Manes.
Go back outside and find the gnomes. Start grinding until you have collected eight Restablization Cogs and Eight Gyromechanic Gears.
Level Ten
Find Frosmane Hold and then after you have killed everything in sight, find the cave in the mountain above you. When you go inside, you’ll find a basket of Shimmerweed. Take the basket.

WoW Cooking Guide
Cooking in WoW is a great skill to earn, and although it’s not completely necessary, it does mesh well with several other professions, such as a fishing. You can actually earn a moderate amount of gold with your cooking skill and you don’t have to put forth a lot of effort, making it a lot fun for most players to give it a try. If you are looking to change things up, this is a skill that is more than worthwhile to learn. In the past, most people didn’t even give this profession a second thought, but with Burning Crusade a lot more opportunities opened up that required this skill and more people are now giving it a try. You can actually make some things that other players really need, so this is a good way to get extra gold and have fun while you’re doing it.Getting Started
Once you decide that you want to give cooking a try, you’ll need to have fire. This requires the items: Flint and Tinder as well as Simple Wood. These are of course, pretty easy to find, so you shouldn’t need to work too hard to get them. Once you have these items, you’ll need to open up your Spellbook. All players have the ability to make the Basic Campfire, so you won’t need to worry about additional training at this point.
You’ll also find your cookbook in your Spellbook. Go ahead and open it up to see which recipes you would like to try. Please keep in mind that your fire will only last for a few minutes. Since you do have to buy wood, it’s a good idea to only start a fire when you are actually ready to start cooking. You may notice that the recipes require a few other items in order to complete. Here’s a sample recipe for Crocolisk Steak. You’ll need to have one Crocolisk Meat and one set of Mild Spices. These can be purchased from a vendor, or you can go out and buy your own.
Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you’ll be ready to move forward. Items that you do not have can be purchased from a cooking trainer, so you may need to spend a little to make a little at first. However, once you advance and go through more quests, you’ll have easy access to the items that you need for your recipes.
Advancing
When you start out, you won’t have a lot of what you need to make more advanced recipes. Here’s a quick way to progress in skill from 1 to 375 with very little effort. You’ll need to start in Ironforge. Here, you can purchase one flour and one mild spices to make your first recipe of Spiced Bread. This is very simple and will help you advance to 40. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to get 30 mild spices as well as some more wood. Now, get to Auberdine and find a Moonkin. Keep killing it until you have around 20 eggs or more. This will quickly take you to skill level 60.
You can then go south to Ashenvale where you will be able to find the Crawlers which will drop clams. Pick up as many as you can and then head back to Ironforge. Cook up the eggs that you got from the Moonkin and sell them. You’ll need to then find a cooking trainer and learn more skills so that you can cook the clams you found. By now, your skill level will be up to 130. Get the expert cookbook and you will be well on your way to getting up to 375.

How to Make Money Cooking
Although cooking can seem like a generally useless skill, it’s what you cook that makes a difference. You will need to focus on foods that carry Buff points. Other players need this food to increase their health and energy points, so once you have mastered the skill you can start making these items and then selling them in the auction house.
For some of the better recipes, you will also need to master fishing, but we’ll focus on the ones that you can do without having to learn this skill in addition. Mok’Nathal shortribs are very popular and will quickly restore a player’s health. These can earn 1 gold piece for each set, so you can quickly make a lot of gold once they’re cooked. Here’s how to do it fast. Go to the Blade’s Edge Mountains and look for the Raptors. Although they usually just drop leather, a few will drop the necessary item for the shortribs. Pick these up and keep grinding away. It’s pretty easy to earn around 33 gold pieces an hour if you really focus.Warp Burgers are also very expensive and sell for about 1 gold piece each. To get the ingredients for these, you’ll need to go to Terrokar Forest and kill Warp Hunters. These are pretty easy to kill and they frequently drop Warped Meat. It’s very easy to make 50 gold pieces an hour using this tip.
It’s also a good idea to pay attention to the seasons in the game. For example, during Christmas, there are quests that will require players to have Egg Nog. If you’re paying attention, you can easily sell Egg Nog for at least one gold piece each and if players are really desperate, you can easily make more money. For this recipe, you will need one small egg, one cold milk, holiday liquor and holiday spices. These can all be purchased for a nominal sum from a reagent.

If you prefer not to grind or you don’t have enough time, it’s easy enough to purchase what you need from Reagents in the game. While this does require some extra cash and your profit margin is smaller, many players prefer to take this route simply because it is quicker.
Daily Cooking Quests
These are newer quests that were introduced recently into the game. They can be a lot of fun, but you’ll need to have a cooking skill of at least 275 to take part in most of them. The good news is that the rewards are quite high. Some quests will award you a barrel of fish or an entire crate of meat, so you can easily start cooking these items to increase your profit margin. You’ll also get more recipes by completing these quests, so it’s a good idea to try at least a few.

There are five main races for the Horde faction, including Blood Elves, Orcs, Tauren, Undead and Trolls. Each one has definite assets and drawbacks and it’s a good idea to make your choice wisely. Blood Elves – This race is known for its magical powers. Once believed to be a part of the race of High Elves, they have since changed and become members of the Horde faction. These elves are perfect for players who prefer to fight not with their might but rather their brains. The skills associated with Blood Elves include the Arcane Torrent which silences enemies within eight yards, the Mana Tap which will drain the energy of their enemies and their ability to reduce the efficacy of magic spells cast against a group.Orcs – This is a very popular race due to their fighting abilities While they may not be very limber, they sure come in handy in the middle of a battle. The traits assigned to orcs include Blood Fury, where they increase the efficacy of an attack on an opponent or slow their opponent’s healing. They also have the trait of Hardiness which helps them resist attacks as well as axe specialization.

Introduction to Grinding
Grinding is a nice way of saying slaughtering all the mobs you can get your hands on. The fact is, if you want to get more experience points and more importantly, more gold for your Horde character, you’re going to need to get grinding. The problem for many players however is knowing which mobs to grind and where to find them. We’re going to make it very easy to get started.
Horde Grinding Levels 11 – 25: You may have noticed that we skipped over the first ten levels. That’s because there really aren’t many opportunities to really get grinding when you first start out. It’s best to start with the wolves in these initial levels to practice, but you won’t be able to really get your grind on until you get to level 11. So, let’s get started: Level 11 -12 When you are in the Barrens, the best grinding spots are Crossroads and Ratchet. What to grind: Savannah Prowler, Greater Plainstrider, Sunscale Screecher,Barrens Giraffe, Crocilisk, Fleeting Plainstrider, Elder Plainstrider, Greater Plainstrider, Sunscale Lashtail, and Zhevra Runner. Look for the crocolisks in the river. By consistently grinding in this area you can earn 14,000 exp points per hour.
Level 13 - 16
You’ll still be able to grind in the same places mentioned above, but head a little bit south to run into the Southsea Bandits and Cannoneers. You’ll be able to earn about 14k exp points per hour in this level as well.
Level 17 – 22
Head over to Norwatch and look for the Theramore Marines. You can earn around 16k exp points an hour here. For 19 through 22, keep an eye out for South Barrens Stormhides, they are very easy to kill.
You’ll also want to head over to the Northwest Barrens where you can find mobs of Ornery Plainstriders and Savannah Patriarchs as well as the other creatures mentioned above. You can earn up to 18k exp points per hour.

Level 22 – 25
You’ll want to spend a lot of time in Camp Taurajo where you can find numerous mobs to grind on. Look for the Thunderhawk Cloudscraper and the Owatanka in these areas.
What to Do With Your Items
Once you have been grinding for awhile, you’re going to have a plethora of items at your disposal. In order to start making money from grinding, you’re going to need to sort through these items and start selling them at the auction house. Before you list everything you have however, there are a few points you’ll need to remember.
First, it’s a good idea to observe the auction house for a few days before you list anything. You’ll want to get an idea of the current trends as well as the current prices for the items that you have. That will allow you to get an idea of what you should be pricing your items for and how much demand there is for specific items.
Try to focus on the items that are truly worth something to other players. The less valuable items can always be sold to a vendor or to someone else who needs them for a specific recipe. Nearly everything that is dropped by a mob in this game has a value, but some will be worth more than others. Even though you’re already getting experience points by grinding, you can easily make around 50 to 60 pieces of gold per hour in the locations we mentioned above. This should give you a lot of incentive to keep going.

World of Warcraft Shaman Guide
The World of Warcraft Shaman can be a very powerful character, if it is played the right way. Although they are not particularly powerful as fighters or as spell casters, they are an integral member of any group and their skills are incredibly useful. While they are considered a middle of the road class in many cases, it can still be well worth your time to give this class a try. The most important thing to remember before you start as a Shaman is that your own skills will need to mesh well with this type of class and that you will need to find a group that has a need for a Shaman. On their own, they are not very powerful, but in a group setting, their abilities are very necessary and can bring more strength to the entire group.Getting Started as a Shaman
When you first select this class, you’ll be pretty limited as to the race of character that you are allowed to play. For the Alliance, only the Dranei can be Shamans. On the Horde side, it is limited to Orc, Trolls, the Undead or Tauren. This does mean that you will have to learn to accept some of these races weaker points, but they do have benefits in the long run that can be useful.
Like most classes that deal more in spells or potions than actual physical battle, you are going to need to learn how to use your mana in the right way. Each time you do cast a spell, you will lose mana points. It’s up to you to decide how you want to expend them. It’s a best to take a moderate approach, avoiding using too much or too little. Both have their down sides and it is best to try to use a medium amount of mana when it is necessary. Otherwise, you’ll either spend all of your time trying to regenerate or you will lose your valuable health points.
Remember, this is not a class that is going to do well with Melee fighting. You’ll need to focus on building up your spell arsenal as well as ranged weapons. It is also vital to learn healing spells since this is the area that Shamans are usually called upon, especially in a group setting. If you want to be an asset to your group, which you need for protection, it is best to learn all of the healing spells and potions that you can.

Picking a Shaman Profession
Herbalism and enchanting are by far the best professions for this class. It’s probably not a good idea to waste your time on the more physical professions like leatherworking or blacksmithing. Skinning can be useful but only to a small degree. It’s also important to find the right mix of primary and secondary professions.
The two mentioned above are the best combination, but you can also mix alchemy with herbalism or enchanting and alchemy. Some players like to try mining as a secondary profession since you can use the items you get, but this does take extra time away from your game.
If you want to make money, making potions is probably the best way to go about this as a Shaman. These are usually in high demand and you can always use them on yourself. It’s a good idea to devote a good chunk of your time to mastering your professions as a Shaman. You’ll be able to increase in skill and create more powerful spells and potions that will earn you more money and more acclaim.
While it can be useful to pick a tailoring profession, due to the fact that you can make your own armor, most players prefer just to purchase their own when necessary. You can only use leather armor until you get to Level 40 anyway and this is not terribly expensive. Many quests along the way also carry pieces of armor as rewards so it’s best to focus on professions that will work as a revenue stream and to give you more skills for your group.

Totems
The Shaman class is the only class that can make use of totems. These are rewarded for finishing specific quests and are assigned by elements. You can have one totem for each element at any one time. These totems can be used in a variety of different ways. For example, the Earth Totem is used to help defend the character or members of its group. The Water Totem is mainly used for restoration while the Fire Totem is used for battle. It is incredibly effective against enemies and easy to use. The Air Totem can be used for defensive capabilities and is awarded only at the high levels of the game.
It is important to note that once you drop a totem, it cannot be picked up again. Use them with care since they are vital to your success in this class. The picture above depicts a troll shaman who has all four types of elementals. As you can see, each one is surrounding by the element that it belongs to. Getting to Higher Levels with the Shaman Class: The key to getting to the higher levels with this class is using intelligent warfare. You won’t have the kind of melee skills or battle skills that will make you a world class warrior. It is important to accept the Shaman for what it is – a class that focuses more on brain power and spells to achieve its objectives. If you go in with the right attitude and the right expectations, this can be a very fun class to play.
The use of totems is vital to your success. They are the key to beating your enemies, especially as you progress to higher levels. Your group is going to be able to benefit from many of them and since the Shaman is the only class that can use a totem, smart groups always have at least one Shaman.

If you don’t know first aid, you’re going to have a much harder time recovering after a battle. Here are some tips on how to quickly and effectively perform first aid not only on yourself but on other characters as well. Your first aid skill is considered a secondary skill, which means that you can combine it with any other profession. It’s probably the best secondary skill you can learn and can really come in handy. Here’s how to get started.First, there are two main components or items that you will need. Bandages or anti-venoms are required for all first aid skills. When you first get started, you’ll get rudimentary bandages, but you will need to find anti-venom or complete quests to get that particular item. There are numerous kinds of anti-venom that are incredibly useful and different situations will call for different types of this item.
This is a skill that players can start right off the bat at level one. Granted, you won’t have the best bandages yet, since they will only be available once you advance in skill, but they are better than nothing. Start out by getting your apprenticeship from a trainer. You can always go back to learn more, but this will get you started.

Now, you will need to purchase the Expert First Aid – Under Wraps item. If you are a member of the Alliance, this can be found in the Arathi Highlands. Horde players can find theirs in Dustwallow Marsh. Once you purchase this item, you will be able to progress past skill level 150. Your goal is to get to 375, so by this point, you’re well on your way.
Once you’ve worked your way up to level 225, you’ll need to complete the Triage Quest which will quickly bump you up to 300. Keep in mind that once you reach 240 you can go back to your trainer to learn advanced bandage wrapping to quickly move up in skill.
Anti-venoms are available as you progress in skill. At level 80, you’ll be able to get your first one from your trainer. This costs about 1 silver piece and 50 coppers, depending on where you get it. After you hit level 130, you’ll be able to purchase the strong anti-venom which usually retails for about 2 silvers and 50 coppers.

World of Warcraft Mage Guide
Although most players prefer to pick a class that is more capable when it comes to combat situations, the mage is still a popular class in this game. If you enjoy using more skill and dealing with spells as opposed to up close and personal melee fighting, this is the perfect class for you. You’ll have a few options as to the race that you pick for your character, and it’s a good idea to take some time on this decision since it can affect the way you perform in the game. Remember, mages are not physically strong, so it’s a good idea to pick a race that is pretty capable in its own right. Skills of the Mage
As the name would suggest, the strength that this race has is in magic. You’re going to want to spend extra time learning spells and getting as much training as possible if you want your character to be effective. You’ll also need to work on spells for defense, since you really won’t have many skills when it comes to protecting yourself. For the first few levels your only weapons will be a wand and some staves so this is a skill that you’re going to want to learn right off the bat.
There are three main types of spells that a mage can use: Arcane, Fire or Frost. When used properly, these are incredibly effective at stopping an enemy. However, it is important to be as far away from the action as you can, simply because the risks of being injured or killed are so high in this class. You’ll also want to ration your mana and your health since spells will take their toll on these levels. If you let your mana get too low, you’ll lose health points.

The spells involving fire are best used on enemies, particularly in a bad situation. They work well from a distance and can deliver a powerful first attack. Frost spells are known as area of affect spells and are good for freezing an enemy when they are too close to you. Arcane spells are useful for more mundane needs, such as traveling, healing, crowd control or buffing other players.
Possibly the most useful thing that a mage can do is summon sustenance. Groups love mages for this purpose since there are times when you do need to eat and drink in this game. It is very helpful to have someone around that can bring these necessary items to the group in a pinch. Just remember, if you summon up either food or water but don’t use it, it will not be there after you logout. If you’re going to summon it, make sure you need it and will use it before you end your game for the day. The talents of the mage also center around the three spell groups mentioned above. You’ll want to use a talent calculator in order to determine which set of talents will be best suited to your particular needs and playing style. These can vary greatly and can make quite a difference when it comes to how well you play the game.One important spell that should be mentioned is the Polymorph spell. This is a talent only a mage can have and it can actually be very effective at stunning your enemies. However, you will need to keep in mind that while they are stunned, their HP is actually going up. You’re going to want to deal with them as quickly as possible unless you want the tables turned on your character. This will usually only work on beasts and humanoids in the game.

Putting it All Together as a Mage
Although the mage may be called frail and useless, when it comes to several situations in this game they are actually the most powerful class. They are capable of dealing incredible damage in a very short amount of time. There is always a tradeoff when it comes to picking races in WoW, and although this class may not be the strongest, there is still a place for them. When it comes to playing in PvP, a mage can usually outlast several other stronger classes, against all odds.
As you progress through the levels, you will have a chance to earn better weapons such as daggers and a one handed sword. It’s important to take advantage of these even though your spells will be your primary weapon. They can come in handy in close situations when you don’t have a chance to cast a spell or if you are suddenly ambushed.
The mage is actually a vital player in the endgame and groups should have at least one if they want to successfully finish the game. Their abilities to polymorph and summon food and drink will come into play at this stage. The crowd control ability is also very useful in the endgame scenario.
The secret to winning with a mage is working within its limitations and focusing on its strengths. Learn spells and skills that suit the class and worry about professions that make more money later in the game.
